A new resident of Raleigh, N C, Nicolaev graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan Dental School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Most recently, Dr. Nicolaev completed one of the top residencies in the country in Advanced Education in General Dentistry(AEGD) at the VA South Texas Health Care System. His AEGD training is focused on advanced oral surgery (implants, bone grafting, sinus lifts), TMD pain and sleep apnea management and treatment, periodontics, fixed prosthodontics, implant prosthodontics (fixed and removable), endodontics, CEREC CAD/CAM, esthetic veneers and full mouth rehabilitation, limited orthodontics, and IV sedation.
He is very passionate about dentistry and strives to deliver the best dental care to his patients. He stays up-t0-date with new technology and materials in dentistry through continuing-education courses to be able to deliver excellent care to all patients at Crabtree Valley Dental. He loves caring for patients and giving them back the confidence and self-esteem they deserve through their new rejuvenated smiles.
On his days off he loves spending time with his wife and his puppy, Theodor. They love going outdoors hiking, and exploring new parks and trails as well as new restaurants.
